MALDIVES OPENS ITS FIRST HUNGARIAN HONORARY CONSUL OFFICE
Mr. Mohamed Ali Janah was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Hungary in the Maldives on 23 July 2021.
Subsequently, during His Excellency Mr. András László Király’s (Hungarian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary) official visit to the Maldives to present his credentials to His Excellency President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, H.E. Mr.Király opened the office of Honorary Consul of Hungary in the Republic of Maldives on 13 September 2021, Monday.
The opening celebration was graced by His Excellency Mr.Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed, Foreign Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maldives, His Excellency Mr.András László Király,the Hungarian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Mrs.Orsolya Bernát,The First Secretary and Consul of the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi, and the senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Maldives.
